Green Bean Bundles


  • 2 (16 oz) cans whole string green beans
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bottle Catalina dressing
  • Toothpicks


  1. Drain beans and divide into 12 equal portions.
  2. Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap each portion of beans with ½ strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour dressing over beans and marinate overnight.
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. You can broil at the end to cook more thoroughly.

Yield: 12 bundles of beans
